Flutterwave CEO Olugbenga Agboola has introduced Go Time AI, an accelerator program under Resilience17, to provide funding and mentorship for emerging African AI startups. The initiative offers up to $200,000 in funding and access to essential cloud computing tools, API services, and structured mentorship.
The program’s first cohort, launched in early 2024, includes five AI-driven startups:
• Catlog – AI-powered sales management chatbot
• Sahel AI – Legal contract review automation
• Tyms – AI-driven accounting software
• AI Teacha – Educational platform
• FriendNPal – Mental health support application
Each startup receives an initial $25,000 investment, with the possibility of more funding based on performance. The program runs on a flexible, mentorship-driven model, emphasizing practical business growth strategies.
With a second cohort set to launch in May 2025, Go Time AI is a major step in strengthening Africa’s AI ecosystem and global tech influence.
