Sendstack, a Norrsken-backed startup, is pivoting from last-mile logistics to fleet management, aiming to generate $1 million in revenue by 2025 through the sale of GPS tracking devices. The company plans to sell 10,000 trackers by July, each priced at ₦100,000, while promoting its fleet management software, CTRL.
The trackers, resembling AirTags and running on 2G networks, help solve Nigeria’s logistics challenges by ensuring cargo visibility. Sendstack offers both a one-time purchase and a managed service subscription, catering to different business needs.
CEO Mba-Kalu sees hardware as an intuitive entry point for Nigerian businesses, similar to how fintech startups scaled with POS devices. However, competition and production costs pose risks. If successful, Sendstack’s strategy could reshape Nigeria’s fleet management industry.
