Kenyan Startup Leta Secures $5M to Revolutionize Logistics with AI

African businesses face high logistics costs, making goods more expensive. Nairobi-based Leta is tackling this issue with an AI-powered platform that optimizes delivery routes, tracks shipments, and reduces fleet costs. The startup has now raised $5 million in seed funding, led by Speedinvest, with backing from Google’s Africa Investment Fund and Equator.

Leta’s technology helps companies cut logistics costs, streamline deliveries, and integrate with existing business systems. With over 35 major clients, including KFC and Diageo, the startup has seen rapid growth, expanding across Kenya, Nigeria, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. Leta aims to double its revenue and expand further across Africa and the Middle East, offering logistics solutions without owning fleets.
