
Kenya is set to launch its Artificial Intelligence (AI) Strategy 2025-2030 to position itself as a leader in AI innovation across Africa. The initiative, led by the Ministry of Information, Communications, and Digital Economy (MICDE), focuses on AI governance, digital skills, and sectoral innovation in areas like agriculture, healthcare, and education.
The strategy aligns with the African Union’s Digital Transformation Strategy and involves partnerships with global organizations, including Germany, the European Union, Canada, and the UK. Kenya also plans to integrate AI and digital skills into education, ensuring a skilled workforce for the AI-driven future.
