In a push to enhance digital access and close the connectivity gap in Uganda, Airtel Uganda has commissioned new mast sites in Arua, strengthening its network infrastructure in the West Nile region. This initiative is part of the company’s broader mission to promote digital inclusion, particularly in areas with limited access to reliable internet and communication services.
According to Martin Kawule, Airtel Uganda’s Regional Business Manager, this latest rollout follows similar expansions in Lira, Kabale, and Fort Portal, and aims to support education, business, and everyday communication in Arua and surrounding communities.
The new sites are expected to significantly improve digital access, driving economic and social development in previously underserved areas.
