KAFD & Huawei Launch Saudi Arabia’s First Smart WiFi-7 Network

KAFD (King Abdullah Financial District) and Huawei have launched Saudi Arabia’s first Smart WiFi-7 network, marking a major step for Riyadh’s smart city ambitions.

The next-generation network will provide faster and more reliable connectivity for residents, visitors, and businesses alike. This enhanced infrastructure will enable seamless smart services, allowing for personalized experiences tailored to individual needs. Additionally, it will support advanced data analytics, equipping businesses with the insights necessary to make smarter decisions.

The rollout cements KAFD as a regional leader in digital innovation and supports Saudi Vision 2030 goals for smart urban living. Retailers and restaurants will also gain access to targeted ad platforms and data-driven tools to boost efficiency and sales.

This milestone follows their LEAP 2025 MoU, strengthening KAFD’s position as a smart district pioneer and the first MENA neighborhood to earn WiredScore’s Smart Neighborhood Certification.
