Simplex, a leading CNC machine manufacturing company, has secured a $13 million investment to establish a large-scale factory in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This move aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 initiative to localize advanced industries and diversify the economy.
Founded in 2013, Simplex has grown into a major player in the industrial solutions sector, serving clients across Egypt and the Middle East. The company recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Saudi Arabia’s National Industrial Development Center to launch its first manufacturing plant in the Kingdom.
The 20,000-square-meter facility will expand Simplex’s market presence, production capacity, and global competitiveness. According to Mohamed Mansour, Co-Founder and CCO, the expansion aims to develop cutting-edge products for multiple industries while positioning Saudi Arabia as a hub for industrial production and exports.
Chairman Eng. Ahmed Shaaban revealed that the plant is expected to begin operations in Q1 2026. The project will also create job opportunities and contribute to Saudi Arabia’s non-oil exports.
With this investment, Simplex is set to strengthen its industrial capabilities, support local manufacturing, and enhance its global footprint.
