The event took place on October\u202f30,\u202f2025 at The Dome, Lekki, drawing founders, creators, investors, and blockchain enthusiasts from across the continent. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Organised by Bchain Africa under the theme <em><a href=\"https:\/\/techpoint.africa\/coverage\/web3-builders-at-onchain-festiva-2025\/\">\u201cCelebrating the African Renaissance\u201d<\/a><\/em>, the festival showcased how Africans are harnessing blockchain and Web3 technologies to drive innovation across finance, gaming, the creator economy and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The atmosphere at The\u202fDome was electric \u2014hundreds of participants took part in keynote sessions, panel discussions, hands\u2011on workshops, and networking sessions. Prominent voices from the community, including founders, artists, developers, and ecosystem leaders, addressed topics such as decentralized finance (DeFi), digital identity, blockchain gaming, and the role of creators in the on\u2011chain economy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Startups and projects such as Bitsave, Importa Pay, Zerocard and others exhibited their blockchain\u2011based solutions \u2014 from payments to NFTs \u2014 while a live demonstration by Shugar Mining illustrated the future of crypto mining in Africa. But Onchain Festival 2025 was more than just exhibitions and talks. It served as a crossroads \u2014 a meeting ground for investors, builders, creators and tech\u2011curious individuals \u2014 aiming to spark collaborations that could shape the continent\u2019s blockchain future. Attendees explored real\u2011world use cases beyond hype: from decentralized finance and content monetization to blockchain\u2011powered gaming, education and digital identity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For many participants, the festival underscored that Africa is no longer just a consumer of Web3 trends \u2014 it is becoming a hub for building real solutions that respond to local needs.
