OceanHub Africa, in partnership with The Coca-Cola Foundation, has launched a $120,000 Pan-African call for bold, innovative solutions aimed at accelerating plastic circularity across the continent. The initiative seeks to empower entrepreneurs, startups, and changemakers working to tackle Africa\u2019s growing plastic waste challenge through scalable and sustainable business models.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Plastic pollution remains one of Africa\u2019s most pressing environmental issues, with rapid urbanisation, rising consumption, and limited waste management infrastructure contributing to mounting waste streams. Yet the challenge also presents a significant economic opportunity. Circular economy solutions\u2014focused on reuse, recycling, redesign, and waste reduction\u2014have the potential to create jobs, unlock new value chains, and reduce environmental damage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The $120,000 funding pool will support selected ventures developing practical, high-impact approaches to plastic circularity.
