Tuberculosis (TB) remains one of Africa\u2019s deadliest infectious diseases, yet the challenge is not only medical\u2014it is logistical. Across the continent, a critical \u201clast-mile delivery\u201d problem continues to hinder timely diagnosis and treatment, particularly in rural and underserved communities. Now, a new wave of logistics innovation is stepping in to bridge that gap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In many African countries, TB testing relies on transporting patient samples from remote clinics to centralized laboratories equipped with diagnostic tools. This process is often slow and unreliable, plagued by poor road infrastructure, limited transportation networks, and fragmented health systems. Delays in sample delivery can stretch from days to weeks, increasing the risk of transmission and reducing the chances of early intervention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recognising this bottleneck, a new logistics platform is working to streamline <\/a>the movement of medical samples and supplies.
