Since its launch in 2023, the conference has grown rapidly, attracting thousands of attendees from across the globe. The 2025 edition welcomed over 6,000 participants from 39 countries,<\/a> reinforcing Moonshot\u2019s status as one of Africa\u2019s most influential technology events. Grey\u2019s emergence as a headline sponsor reflects its expanding influence within the global fintech ecosystem. Founded in Lagos and now operating internationally, the company currently serves nearly three million users across 70 countries and supports transfers to more than 170 destinations in over 30 currencies. The company has also intensified its global expansion strategy through new regulatory approvals in Canada and the introduction of Canadian dollar payouts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The partnership comes at a time when cross-border payments are becoming increasingly important to Africa\u2019s digital economy. Speaking on the partnership, Grey CEO and co-founder Idorenyin Obong said Moonshot represents an important platform for shaping the future of African innovation and global payments. Meanwhile, Tomiwa Aladekomo described Grey as one of the continent\u2019s most consequential fintech success stories, making the partnership a natural fit for the conference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
