Launched in 2026, the platform has already crossed 2,000 active users within just four months, with adoption spreading across Nigeria, other African countries, and international markets. Unlike conventional photography management tools, Fotosut allows photographers to run their businesses simply by speaking or typing commands to an AI assistant. Tasks such as generating invoices, managing client records, scheduling shoots, sending follow-ups, and tracking payments can all be completed through natural language prompts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Oluseyi Magic, the inspiration behind Fotosut came from his personal experience as a wedding photographer in Lagos. After spending more than a decade in the photography industry, he noticed that many creatives were spending excessive time on administrative work instead of focusing on their craft. This challenge inspired him to build a platform where photographers could operate their businesses more efficiently using AI as the primary interface rather than as an additional feature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Industry observers believe Fotosut\u2019s AI-native approach gives it a unique advantage over global competitors such as HoneyBook and Studio Ninja<\/a>, which traditionally rely on menu-driven software systems. Fotosut also stands out for its African-first design, integrating local payment systems, local currency invoicing, and bandwidth-optimised gallery delivery tailored to emerging markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company\u2019s broader vision extends beyond software. Oluseyi Magic also leads Raremagic Academy, a community of more than 20,000 photographers and creatives across Africa, alongside The Launch Conference, one of Nigeria\u2019s largest annual photography gatherings.
