Egyptian logistics company Mylerz has secured more than $2 million in fresh debt and equity financing as it moves to strengthen its operations and expand the infrastructure supporting Egypt\u2019s growing e-commerce market. The funding, worth more than EGP100 million, was led by Lorax Capital Partners, with participation from Egyptian payments company Fawry and other existing investors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Founded in 2019 by Samer Gharaibeh, Mylerz provides end-to-end logistics services for e-commerce businesses, including fulfilment, warehousing and last-mile delivery. Its technology platform allows merchants to manage shipments and logistics operations while supporting same-day and next-day delivery services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The latest capital will primarily support Mylerz\u2019s continued expansion across Egypt. The company plans to strengthen its balance sheet and working capital position while increasing fulfilment capacity and expanding its delivery network. It will also continue investing in the proprietary technology that powers its logistics operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The investment arrives as online commerce continues to generate greater demand for reliable delivery infrastructure. As more consumers shop online and businesses sell through digital channels, logistics companies are under increasing pressure to provide faster deliveries, efficient fulfilment and better shipment visibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Mylerz, expanding its infrastructure is therefore about more than handling additional packages. The company needs to maintain service quality while managing higher shipment volumes and increasingly complex delivery requirements. Its technology platform is expected to play an important role in improving efficiency as the business scales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new financing also demonstrates continued investor confidence in Mylerz. Lorax Capital Partners previously led a $9.6 million funding round for the company in 2022, with Fawry also participating. That investment supported Mylerz\u2019s expansion in Egypt and North Africa and helped finance the development of an automated, AI-enabled fulfilment facility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The latest round is particularly significant because it combines debt and equity financing from existing shareholders. Rather than bringing in an entirely new group of investors, Mylerz has secured additional backing from partners already familiar with its business and growth strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gharaibeh described the financing as a vote of confidence from the company\u2019s existing partners, noting that the new capital would allow Mylerz to invest in the infrastructure, technology and people needed to serve merchants and their customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The funding also highlights the increasingly important role logistics plays in Egypt\u2019s digital economy.<\/a> E-commerce growth depends not only on online storefronts and digital payments but also on the physical infrastructure required to move products efficiently from merchants to consumers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
