IMT Enugu Applauded for Advancing Digital Transformation in Insurance Education

The National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) and the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN) have commended the Institute of Management and Technology (IMT), Enugu, for its significant strides in promoting technology-driven insurance education and practice in Nigeria. This commendation was made during a recent visit by top officials of NAICOM and CIIN to IMT, highlighting the institute’s pivotal role in modernizing insurance education and contributing to the digital transformation of the industry.

Dr. Abdulrasaaq Salami, the representative of NAICOM, praised IMT’s efforts in integrating technology into its insurance training programs. He noted that the collaboration between NAICOM and educational institutions like IMT is crucial for achieving the commission’s goals of deepening insurance penetration and improving public understanding of insurance services across Nigeria. Similarly, the President of CIIN, Edwin Igbiti, expressed satisfaction with IMT’s alignment with CIIN’s mission to build a robust pipeline of well-trained insurance professionals.
