Smart Africa has launched a bootcamp aimed at strengthening Africa’s startup support ecosystem by equipping key stakeholders with the tools and knowledge needed to foster innovation and entrepreneurship. The initiative, held in partnership with key continental and global organizations, targets incubator managers, startup enablers, and policymakers from across Africa. Through hands-on training, workshops, and knowledge sharing, participants are exposed to best practices in startup incubation, mentorship, funding, and ecosystem development. The bootcamp also seeks to promote collaboration among African countries, ensuring the adoption of harmonized policies that support startups at every stage of growth. This effort aligns with Smart Africa’s broader mission to accelerate sustainable socioeconomic development through digital transformation. By empowering those who nurture startups, the program aims to indirectly boost the success rate of emerging businesses, create jobs, and enhance Africa’s competitiveness in the global digital economy. The initiative marks a significant step toward building a robust and self-sustaining innovation ecosystem in Africa.
