African fintech firms join Endeavor 2026 cohort.

A new wave of African tech leadership has been recognized as Endeavor announced its 2026 Outliers cohort, featuring some of the continent’s most influential and fast-scaling startups, including Moniepoint, Flutterwave, LemFi, Moove, and Paga. The Outliers program by Endeavor is designed to spotlight high-impact entrepreneurs who are building category-defining companies in emerging markets. Selection into the cohort is widely regarded as a marker of global potential, connecting founders to Endeavor’s network of mentors, investors, and strategic partners across more than 40 markets.

This year’s cohort reflects the growing maturity and diversity of Africa’s technology ecosystem, particularly in fintech, mobility, and digital infrastructure. Each of the selected companies is addressing critical gaps in how money, services, and mobility are accessed and scaled across African markets and beyond.

Moniepoint has become one of Africa’s leading business banking and payments platforms, powering millions of transactions for small and medium-sized enterprises. Flutterwave continues to play a central role in enabling cross-border payments for global and African businesses, strengthening the continent’s digital commerce infrastructure.

In the fintech and remittance space, LemFi is simplifying international money transfers for diaspora communities, offering faster and more affordable cross-border payment solutions. Meanwhile, Moove is transforming mobility financing by providing revenue-based vehicle financing for drivers in the ride-hailing and logistics sectors, helping expand access to income-generating assets.

Paga remains one of Nigeria’s pioneering digital payment platforms, focused on expanding financial inclusion by enabling users to send, receive, and manage money seamlessly across digital and offline channels.

Together, these companies represent a broader shift in Africa’s tech ecosystem—from early-stage disruption to large-scale infrastructure building. Their inclusion in the Endeavor 2026 Outliers cohort highlights not only their individual achievements but also the increasing global relevance of African-founded technology companies.

The recognition is expected to provide access to deeper capital networks, strategic guidance, and international expansion opportunities. More importantly, it reinforces confidence in Africa’s ability to produce globally competitive companies solving real-world problems at scale.

As the continent’s digital economy continues to expand, the success of these firms signals a new phase: one where African startups are no longer just local innovators, but key players shaping global systems in finance, mobility, and digital infrastructure.
